  13. I have one phone line for both voice and modem use.  I also have call
  14. waiting.  I know how to disable call waiting, but my problem is
  15. different...

  17. Ever since changing to a new modem, I do NOT get bumped-off when
  18. call-waiting goes off.  People try to call me while I'm on-line and
  19. all they get is ringing and ringing.

  21. Other than getting a second phone line, can anyone recommend a piece
  22. of software to alert me to incoming calls?  Or a change to my
  23. initialization string to allow me to get knocked-off to take voice
  24. calls?  (I know it sounds strange to WANT to get knocked-off, but if
  25. I'm on-line for an important reason, I'll disable call-waiting).
