- I have one phone line for both voice and modem use. I also have call
- waiting. I know how to disable call waiting, but my problem is
- different...
-
- Ever since changing to a new modem, I do NOT get bumped-off when
- call-waiting goes off. People try to call me while I'm on-line and
- all they get is ringing and ringing.
-
- Other than getting a second phone line, can anyone recommend a piece
- of software to alert me to incoming calls? Or a change to my
- initialization string to allow me to get knocked-off to take voice
- calls? (I know it sounds strange to WANT to get knocked-off, but if
- I'm on-line for an important reason, I'll disable call-waiting).
